EP 47

Discussing the Trauma of the Past Year

with Ebony Wyatt

Matt Story | 5/23/2021

Friend of the pod, Ebony Wyatt, returns to share her thoughts on the trauma that many of us have had to witness and process over the past year since the murder of George Floyd. In this episode, we explore not only what she's done to help her community of Minneappolis move forward but how she has had to start at home with her children. While there remains more work to do, Ebony shares examples of actions that have shown her the big hearts of others looking to contribute to a better future. It's a real, authentic conversation that unpacks the trauma that many in the Black community are experiencing.

Listen to this episode and then make a plan for what you can do to ensure we are all in a better place this time next year. If you are looking for a place to start, you can make a donation to the George Floyd Memorial Foundation.
