Searching for Your Why

C.J. Gunn, Creator of The Money Whys Guy, says he is still in search of his why. However, our conversations covers many topics that give strong indicators that he is very close to uncovering it. C.J. shares how he navigated the elimination of his role as a co-founder at a startup due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We also take a trip down memory lane (we both interned together at Procter & Gamble almost 20 years ago) and C.J. recalls being able to count on his two hands how many times he saw another Black person in leadership or key client meetings throughout that time. He also opens up about how he approaches raising two young Black sons in today's world. Lastly, he walks through his hope to inspire others to reach financial freedom with his latest venture, The Money Whys Guy.
